Describe your role within the company:
I buy just about all the components that are needed for the printing and packing of our products here in the Kenosha Plant. I also keep the inventories up to date.
Describe your typical day (tasks, challenges, etc.)
I make sure all materials were issued to each job, every morning. Then I plan on what is needed to purchase for upcoming jobs. The biggest challenge, is keeping the inventory correct. I do not want anyone to come to my office to tell me something is missing. With help of everybody here, we have gotten pretty good at keeping the inventory accurate.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love working with the people here, they are great. I hate to sound cliché, but it is like one big family here.
When you think about Colbert Packaging as a brand, what does that mean to you and your unique role?
That I want to represent Colbert the best I can, with all the people I work with. I don’t want to make it hard to work with us.
What does Colbert PRIDE mean to you?
That we take care of all our customers, and put out a product, on time, and that we can be proud of.
What makes Colbert Packaging a good place to work?
Everything. The environment here is great. The facility is beautiful, the people are great, and management has put together an atmosphere that makes it easy to walk thru the front door every morning.
