Director of Operations, Elkhart
I am excited to join Colbert Packaging as the director of operations in Elkhart. I am responsible, and accountable, for the Elkhart operations to ensure optimum profitability and financial success for the business and our employees. I envision my typical day consisting of overseeing our safety, plant operations, employee engagement and development, and quality initiatives — all rolled up to ensure we are satisfying existing customer needs and working to help grow and support new business.
What I enjoy most about being in this role is having the opportunity to lead, and work with, a team to attain a common goal. I have more than 25 years of printing and packaging experience, and I like to use the model of “Learn, Know, Improve, Teach” as my philosophy of working and doing business. I also see my role as one of brand ambassador internally for Colbert employees and externally for our customers. The Colbert PRIDE values are a legacy and an important component of the Colbert brand. To me, it means having the desire to take care of each other and our customers.
